Brian A. Lathan Sidney, NY Brian Allen Lathan, 31, of Sidney, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Brian was born on June 29, 1982, son of Bruce and Bonnie (Tuttle) Lathan in Sidney. He graduated from Sidney High School, Class of 2000, where he was an exceptional bowler. Brian loved his family. On July 27, 2013, he married Danielle Savory and his family grew with his step-children, Alexis and Cameron. Brian loved music and was a skilled guitar player. He also enjoyed hunting. In addition to his wife and children, Brian is survived by: His mother and step-father, Bonnie and David Scanlon Father and step-mother, Bruce and Cheryl Lathan Brother, Bradley and Anna Lathan Sister, Carlee Tuttle Step-sister, Amy Oliver and children Grandparents, Judy and Don Poltz Brother-in-law, Matt Savory and children Special friend, Mike Leidy As well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. George Etzel and his wife, Sara, and Gary Dubben. Friends may call from 2:00-4:00pm on Friday, March 28, 2014 at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney. Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm at the funeral chapel. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family online at www.landersfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations for Alexis’ and Cameron’s education may be made in care of Bonnie Scanlon, 20 Pleasant St. Sidney, NY 13838. Arrangements are under the direction of C.H.
