Obituary of Dorothy B. Seymour

Dorothy B. Seymour Bainbridge, NY Dorothy B. Seymour 78 of Bainbridge passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Tri-town Regional Hospital in Sidney. She was born February 29, 1936 in Deposit. Dorothy married Frederick Seymour on April 18, 1954. They were married for 55 years prior to his passing in 2009. She was a devoted homemaker, mother and grandmother. Dorothy was an active member of the Sidney Center Baptist Church for almost 60 years. Dorothy was also a longtime volunteer at The Hospital in Sidney until its closing. She is survived by 2 sons – Daniel Seymour and Darlene Kellog and Joseph and Dara Seymour Sister – Donna Burleson Grandchildren – Tim and Tori Seymour, Nathan Seymour, Katie Bradley, Cassie Seymour, Damon Seymour, Kaiden Seymour and Bailey Green Great grandchildren – Zoie and Aubrey Seymour and Tanner Pearson Dorothy is predeceased by her parents and sisters Marie and Marjorie Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Sidney Center Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Dennis Murray officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Sidney at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney Center Baptist Church.
