Obituary of William Bontemps - Centrella

William Bontemps Centrella Afton—William Bontemps Centrella, 89, of Afton, passed away on July 15, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 26, 1926 in New York City. He was a WWII Veteran, serving in the 20th Armored Infantry Battalion 10th Division. He was involved in the automotive industry all his life until his retirement at age 65. He was a member of James W. Husted Lodge 1068 FNAM State of New York. He was predeceased by his daughter, Betty Bontemps. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Centrella; and his children, William Bontemps, Carol DeStefano, Diane Curtin and Anthony Centrella. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at C.H. Landers Funeral Chapel, 21 Main St. Sidney, on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 9:00am at the funeral chapel with Rev.
